About
A matched pair of blue discus juveniles at 6–7cm, sourced from quality European breeding stock with an excellent genetic background. Blue discus pairs are perennially popular in Belgium and the Netherlands as a starter pair for new breeders entering the hobby. Good potential for breeding once mature at around 12–18 months of age.
Care Guide
Raise the pair in a 200L+ aquarium at 28–30°C. Feed high-protein varied diet. Large, frequent water changes essential for juvenile growth. Pair will typically form a bond naturally and begin spawning attempts at maturity. Provide a flat spawning cone or vertical surface. Separate from other fish once spawning begins.
