Symphysodon aequifasciatus
Origin: Captive bred
A matched pair of Pigeon Blood discus juveniles at 6–7cm — one of the most popular starter breeding pairs in the European discus hobby. The Pigeon Blood strain breeds readily in captivity and produces a high percentage of quality offspring, making it ideal for those new to discus breeding. A great entry point into the rewarding world of discus reproduction.

Pigeon Blood discus are among the hardier strains, making them slightly more forgiving for beginners. Provide spawning cones or vertical surfaces when mature. Remove other fish from breeding tank.
