Corydoras duplicareus
Origin: Brazil (Rio Jutai)
Corydoras duplicareus is a highly sought-after dwarf corydoras from the Rio Jutai in Brazil, closely resembling C. adolfoi but distinguished by its distinctive black band placement and intense orange saddle behind the head. A peaceful bottom dweller that appreciates soft substrate and the company of its own kind. Thrives in groups of six or more in a well-maintained planted aquarium.
Provide fine sand substrate. Keep in groups of 6+. Feed sinking micro wafers, frozen daphnia, micro bloodworms. Soft, slightly acidic to neutral water preferred. Sensitive to poor water quality. A small and delicate species — avoid housing with very large or boisterous fish. One of the most beautiful dwarf cories available.
