About

The Dwarf Neon Rainbowfish is one of the smaller rainbowfish species, reaching only about 7cm, making it ideal for aquariums too small for its larger relatives. Males display rows of red and blue horizontal stripes that flash brilliantly under aquarium lighting. Active, peaceful, and well-suited to life alongside other small community fish.

Care Guide

Keep in groups of 6+ with a 2:1 female to male ratio. Provide open swimming space with planted edges. Feed quality flake, frozen artemia and daphnia. Males colour up most brilliantly when competing. Moderately hard, neutral to slightly alkaline water preferred. One of the most rewarding small rainbowfish for community setups.
