Origin: Indo-Pacific, Red Sea
Ecsenius bicolor, the Bicolor Blenny, is named for its striking two-tone body — front half deep blue, rear half orange-red. An active algae grazer that perches on rocks and corals. Entertaining, bold personality. Reef safe and beginner friendly.
Live rock with perching spots. Temperature 24–27°C. Feed algae flakes, nori, Mysis. Hardy and adaptable. One per tank unless very large. Reef safe.
