The Eggfish Oranda is a rare variety combining the smooth, egg-shaped body of the Eggfish (no dorsal fin) with the wen head growth of the Oranda. This red variety displays a well-rounded body, prominent wen, and flowing split tail. A highly sought-after collector's fish seldom seen in mainstream shops — source from specialist breeders.
Care Guide
Requires excellent filtration and frequent water changes. The wen growth can obstruct vision and restrict swimming — monitor and trim if necessary. Feed sinking pellets — never floating foods for no-dorsal varieties. House only with other slow fancy goldfish. Cool (10–22°C), well-oxygenated water essential. A prize fish for dedicated enthusiasts.
