About
Hyphessobrycon amandae, the Ember Tetra, is a tiny and brilliantly orange-red tetra from the Araguaia River system in Brazil. At only 2 cm, it glows like embers in a planted aquarium, especially against green plant backgrounds. Very peaceful and suitable for nano planted tanks. Pack of 10.
Care Guide
Keep in groups of 10+ for boldest display. Soft, slightly acidic water preferred. Feed micro foods: baby brine shrimp, nano flake, micro worms. Excellent in planted nano tanks with a dark substrate — colours appear most vivid. Safe with dwarf shrimp and all small peaceful species.
