Poecilia wingei
Origin: Venezuela (captive-bred pure N-class line)
The 'N-Class' designation indicates pure, wild-type Endler's Livebearers (Poecilia wingei) with documented lineage free from hybridization with common guppies. Males display the classic neon-green and orange flank spots with a black caudal peduncle mark. An important strain for those interested in conservation-minded breeding programs that maintain the species' original wild-type characteristics.
Keep pure N-class Endler's separate from guppies and hybrid strains to maintain genetic integrity. House in planted nano aquarium with 2–3 females per male. Feed micro-pellets, daphnia, artemia. Very easy to breed — regular partial water changes encourage spawning. An important conservation strain worth maintaining properly.
