Caridina cantonensis var. 'Extreme Blue Bolt Galaxy'
Also known as: Blue Bolt Galaxy Shrimp, Galaxy Blue Bolt, Mosura Blue Bolt
Origin: Selectively bred; base species from Southern China
The Extreme Blue Bolt Galaxy represents one of the pinnacle achievements in Taiwan Bee selective breeding — a shrimp combining the intensely saturated deep blue base of the Extreme Blue Bolt with additional mosura-type white spot patterning scattered across the body, creating a striking galaxy-like appearance. Each individual displays a unique constellation of white spots against the deep blue background, making every shrimp a one-of-a-kind specimen. Among the most demanding and expensive Taiwan Bee morphs available, the Galaxy Blue Bolt requires meticulous soft, acidic, ultra-low TDS water management with an active buffering substrate. An extraordinary collector shrimp for the most dedicated Caridina enthusiasts.
Water: pH 5.8–6.6, TDS 80–120 ppm, temperature 20–23°C; strict RO water with Caridina GH+ mineral and active substrate mandatory. Tank: 30–60 litres; mature biofilm; dense moss; sponge filtration only. Feeding: Color-enhancing premium shrimp pellets, biofilm, leaf litter, algae. Breeding: Select specimens with best galaxy patterning; highly variable offspring. Compatibility: Species-only; isolate from other Taiwan Bee variants to preserve pattern line.
