The False Julii Corydoras (Corydoras trilineatus) is frequently sold under the name Julii Cory and features a striking pattern of dark spots and blotches on a pale cream body with a bold lateral stripe. A very active and social species that brings constant movement to the aquarium floor. Robust and beginner-friendly, it thrives in groups over fine sand substrate.
Care Guide
Provide fine sand substrate. Keep in groups of 6+. Feed sinking wafers, frozen bloodworms, daphnia. Adaptable to a wide range of water conditions from 6.0–7.5 pH. Hardy and active — one of the most entertaining cory species to observe. An excellent beginner cory with attractive patterning.
