Fantail Black Goldfish

An all-black Fantail goldfish with a rounded body, good dorsal height, and a broad forked double tail. Black coloration in goldfish can fade over time under certain conditions — good water quality and a balanced diet help maintain the dark pigmentation. A striking visual counterpart to the more common orange and red varieties.

Provide excellent filtration and regular water changes. Keep at 10–22°C with good oxygenation. Feed quality sinking or pre-soaked goldfish pellets. House with other similarly-sized fancy goldfish. Avoid mixing with active slim-bodied goldfish. The black coloration can fade to orange in poor conditions — maintain pristine water and a colour-enhancing diet.
