About
The Fantail is the most common and hardiest of all the fancy goldfish, with a rounded body and a broad, forked double tail fin held high and wide. This red-and-white variety is an excellent starter fancy goldfish for beginners. More tolerant of lower water temperatures than other double-tailed varieties — a reliable and forgiving introduction to fancy goldfish keeping.
Care Guide
Provide excellent filtration. Feed quality goldfish pellets or pre-soaked flake. Keep at 10–22°C. House with other similarly-sized fancy goldfish. The Fantail is the hardiest double-tailed fancy goldfish — ideal for anyone new to fancy goldfish. Regular water changes essential. Do not house with single-tailed active goldfish.
