About
Farlowella vittata, the Needle Nose or Twig Catfish, has an extraordinarily elongated snout and slender body making it nearly invisible against driftwood or bamboo. One of the most algae-grazing slender catfish. Requires excellent water quality.
Care Guide
Good oxygenation and flow. Temperature 22–26°C, pH 6.5–7.5, GH 4–12. Clean water essential. Feed algae wafers, spirulina, cucumber. Fragile — avoid aggressive tank mates.
