Flame Angelfish Centropyge loricula

Centropyge loricula — the flame angelfish — is widely considered one of the most beautiful dwarf angelfish. The fiery orange-red body with bold black vertical bars and electric blue fin highlights is extraordinary. It originates from deep, clean Pacific waters and requires a well-established, mature reef. Like most Centropyge angels it may nip at LPS and clam mantles. Its reef compatibility requires monitoring, hence 'reef-safe with caution' classification.

Tank: 200+ L, mature reef. Feed: high-quality marine angel diet, spirulina, mysis. Monitor for nipping at LPS and Tridacna clams. Well-established system required.
