About
The galaxy pattern is achieved through selective breeding that combines iridescent cell expression across the body, producing scattered metallic flecks and spots over a dark or coloured base. Often combined with koi or dragon scale genetics, galaxy bettas are among the most visually complex and desirable colour forms available.

Water: 26-30°C, pH 6.0-7.5, soft to medium hardness — excellent water quality enhances the metallic sheen. Tank: minimum 20L, dark substrate and subdued lighting amplify the galaxy pattern effect. Feeding: carnivore — high-quality betta pellets, frozen bloodworm, daphnia; twice daily. Behaviour: males aggressive to conspecifics — keep one male per tank. Compatibility: peaceful community tanks; a highlight specimen for any planted setup.
