In the trade, 'Galaxy Rasbora' is an older name used interchangeably with Celestial Pearl Danio (Danio margaritatus). This listing features the classic Galaxy form prized for its constellation-like gold spots on an indigo body, bred in aquaculture facilities for long-term hobby supply. It is easy to care for and breeds willingly.
Water: 20–26 °C, pH 6.5–7.5, soft to moderate (GH 5–15). Tank: 30 L minimum; planted with open swimming areas and a dark substrate. Feeding: Micro pellets, Cyclops, baby brine shrimp, crushed flake. Behaviour: Active and competitive; keep 8+ to distribute male attention; mild male sparring. Compatibility: Excellent with pygmy corys, Boraras, shrimp, and all peaceful nano fish.
