Gastromyzon stellatus is a beautifully spotted hillstream loach from Borneo with cream/white spots on a brown body. Inhabits fast-flowing mountain streams. Grazes biofilm and algae from rock surfaces. A rare and prized hillstream species.
Strong flow and high oxygenation. Temperature 18–24°C. Smooth rounded rocks for perching. Feed algae wafers and biofilm. Sensitive to warm temperatures. Smaller tank suitable due to cool preference.
