Genicanthus lamarck
Origin: Indo-Pacific
Genicanthus lamarck, Lamarck's Swallowtail Angelfish, is one of the few angelfish considered completely reef-safe. Males are pale with black horizontal stripes; females are cream with yellow. Plankton feeders that do not graze on corals. Elegant swallowtail fins.
Provide open swimming space in a 250 L+ reef. One male and multiple females. Temperature 24–27°C. Feed Mysis, pellets, zooplankton. True reef safe — no coral risk.
