About
Vampire Crabs (Geosesarma sp.) are spectacular semi-terrestrial crabs from Southeast Asia, featuring vivid purple to red colouration with striking yellow eyes. They require a paludarium or semi-aquatic setup with both land and shallow water areas. The vibrant colouration makes them one of the most striking invertebrates available.
Care Guide
Requires paludarium setup with at least 50% land area and shallow water section. Temperature 22–28°C. Feed crab pellets, blanched vegetables, frozen bloodworms, and fruit flies. Keep pairs or groups (multiple females per male). Tropical humidity essential — mist regularly.
