About

Sourced from Germany's finest discus breeding facilities, this Red Dragon variant is celebrated for its extraordinary body shape and unparalleled depth of red coloration developed over multiple generations of selective breeding. German discus are renowned throughout Europe for their consistency, health, and genetic quality, making each fish a genuine collector piece. Best kept in warm, soft, slightly acidic water in a species-specific or well-curated discus community tank.

Care Guide

Maintain water temperature at 28–31°C with very soft, slightly acidic water (pH 6.0–7.0, GH 1–8, KH 0–4). Perform frequent partial water changes (25–30% every 2–3 days) to maintain pristine water quality. Feed high-quality discus-specific foods including frozen bloodworm, beef heart, and high-protein pellets. Keep in groups of 6 or more to reduce aggression and stress. Provide tall plants and driftwood for cover.
