Golden Orfe Large

Large-grade Golden Orfe offer instant visual impact in an established garden pond, their vivid orange flanks catching the light as they cruise in loose schools near the water surface. These specimen fish are robust and fully cold-hardy, tolerating Northern European winters without issue. Golden Orfe are prized show fish throughout Belgium and the Netherlands for their active, surface-oriented behavior and the life and movement they bring to large water garden displays.

Requires a large, well-oxygenated pond of at least 3,000 L. Golden Orfe are highly sensitive to low oxygen levels — ensure strong surface agitation, especially in warm summer weather. Fully cold-tolerant; keep in groups of at least 3–5. Feed quality floating pond pellets seasonally. Compatible with koi, other orfe, and rudd. They are active surface feeders and will readily take insects and floating food.
