Golden Orfe Medium

A mid-sized Golden Orfe displaying its characteristic bright orange colouration and sleek torpedo-shaped body. These fish are highly surface-oriented and energetic, making them a striking feature in garden ponds of suitable size. They school actively and feed eagerly from the water surface, creating a lively, dynamic display. Golden Orfe require well-oxygenated water and are best kept with companions of their own species or other active pond fish.

Requires at least 2,000 L of well-oxygenated water. Ensure strong aeration, especially during warm weather when oxygen levels can drop. Fully cold-tolerant through European winters. Keep in groups of 3 or more. Feed quality floating pond pellets; they readily take surface-fed insects and foods. Compatible with koi and rudd. Avoid small, enclosed ponds with limited surface area.
