Dichotomyctere nigroviridis

Dichotomyctere nigroviridis (formerly Tetraodon nigroviridis) is the classic green spotted puffer with vivid lime-green spots on a white belly. One of the most popular brackish puffer fish in the hobby. Requires snails and hard-shelled foods to prevent overgrown teeth.
Species-only or robust tank mates. SG 1.005–1.015. Temperature 24–28°C, pH 7.5–8.5. Feed snails, frozen cockle, clam, mussel. Test teeth monthly; trim if overgrown.
