Green Turquoise Discus

The Green Turquoise discus combines a warm olive-green body base with dense, vivid turquoise horizontal striping, creating a uniquely natural yet vivid appearance that appeals to aquarists who prefer a more organic, forest-water colour palette in their display aquariums. Popular among Dutch discus keepers, this variety complements lush green planted aquariums beautifully. Best kept in groups to encourage natural schooling behavior and reduce aggression.

Maintain water temperature at 28–31°C with very soft, slightly acidic water (pH 6.0–7.0, GH 1–8, KH 0–4). Frequent partial water changes (25–30% every 2–3 days) are essential for long-term health. Feed high-quality discus foods: frozen bloodworm, beef heart, and specialized high-protein discus pellets. Keep in groups of 6 or more. Provide tall plants and driftwood for cover and a sense of security.
