About

Corydoras guapore is a compact species from the Rio Guapore drainage, one of the more southerly distributed Corydoras. Its relatively small size and adaptability to a range of water parameters, including slightly cooler temperatures, make it an excellent choice for hobbyists. It is active and social, thriving when kept in a group.

Care Guide

Water: 20–26°C, pH 6.5–7.5, soft to medium hardness; tolerates cooler water. Tank: 60L+, fine sand substrate, moderate flow, open sandy areas for foraging. Feeding: Sinking wafers, pellets, frozen bloodworm, daphnia, and brine shrimp. Behaviour: Active, peaceful schooling bottom dweller; keep in groups of 6+. Compatibility: Good community fish with small to medium peaceful species.
