Halfmoon Betta 'Blue Dragon'

The Blue Dragon Halfmoon Betta is a highly sought-after form combining the full 180-degree halfmoon tail spread with a body armored in metallic blue dragon-scale iridocytes that create a stunning, plated appearance unlike standard solid-coloured bettas. The fins glow in vivid sapphire-blue with black edging that adds striking depth and contrast. A premium betta that showcases best in its own dedicated, well-planted aquarium with quality lighting.

House singly in a dedicated aquarium of at least 15 L with gentle filtration, live or silk plants, and a tight-fitting lid. Maintain temperature 24–28°C, pH 6.0–7.5, soft to moderately hard water with excellent water quality. Feed varied high-protein carnivore foods: frozen bloodworm, Artemia, Daphnia, and betta-specific pellets. Weekly partial water changes of 25–30% are essential. Never house two males together.
