Halfmoon Betta 'Galaxy Koi'

The Galaxy Koi Halfmoon Betta is among the most visually complex and individualized betta forms available, featuring a marble-like blending of orange, black, and white koi-patterning across both body and broad halfmoon finnage. Due to the marble gene, no two fish are ever identical, and the pattern can continue to shift and evolve throughout the fish's life. A premium collector's fish that draws admiration in any single-species display aquarium.

House singly in a dedicated aquarium of at least 15 L with quality lighting to appreciate the intricate pattern. Maintain temperature 24–28°C, pH 6.0–7.5, soft to moderately hard water. Feed varied high-protein carnivore foods: frozen bloodworm, Artemia, Daphnia, and quality betta pellets. Perform weekly partial water changes. Observe the pattern periodically — it may shift due to the marble gene, especially in the first 12 months.
