Halichoeres chrysus

Halichoeres chrysus, the Yellow Coris Wrasse, is an all-brilliant-yellow reef-safe wrasse that buries in sand at night and when startled. Active, hardy, and eats flatworms and small invertebrate pests. Very beginner-friendly among wrasses.
Sand substrate 5+ cm for sleeping/hiding. Temperature 24–27°C, SG 1.024–1.026. Feed Mysis, Artemia, pellets. Lid required — good jumper. Reef safe but may eat ornamental micro-fauna.
