About

Corydoras flaveolus is a charming species from the Rio Paranapanema drainage in Brazil, its body adorned with a delicate honeycomb or net-like pattern of dark markings. It is a hardy and adaptable species tolerating a reasonable range of water parameters. A lovely alternative to more commonly kept spotted cories.

Care Guide

Water: 22–27°C, pH 6.0–7.2, soft to medium hardness; adaptable. Tank: 60L+, fine sand substrate, moderate flow, planted areas alongside open sand patches. Feeding: Sinking wafers, pellets, frozen bloodworm, daphnia, and vegetable-based foods. Behaviour: Active, peaceful bottom dweller; keep in groups of 6+ for natural behaviour. Compatibility: Excellent community fish with most peaceful tropical species.
