About
Hyphessobrycon sweglesi, the Red Phantom Tetra, is a brilliant deep crimson tetra with a distinctive black shoulder patch and high dorsal fin. More intensely red than the common Bleeding Heart Tetra and slightly smaller.
Care Guide
School of 8+. Soft, acidic water ideal. Temperature 22–26°C, pH 5.5–7.0. Feed quality flakes, micro-pellets, small frozen foods. Darkwater setup with tannins brings out peak coloration.
