About
Inpaichthys kerri, the Royal Tetra or Blue Emperor Tetra, displays a striking iridescent blue-violet lateral stripe in both sexes, with males developing deep blue colour overall. Peaceful schooling species from the Rio Aripuanã.

School of 8+. Soft, slightly acidic water. Temperature 23–27°C, pH 6.0–7.5. Feed flakes, micro-pellets and frozen Artemia. Excellent for planted South American biotopes.
