Nothobranchius interruptus
Also known as: Interrupted Nothobranch
Origin: Eastern Tanzania
Nothobranchius interruptus is seldom seen outside specialist collections, making it a genuine trophy for dedicated killifish keepers. Named for the interrupted or broken dark lateral stripe on the male, its colouration also includes vivid blue-green and red patterning. It originates from seasonal flood pools in eastern Tanzania and requires attentive care, particularly during the dry-storage phase of egg incubation.
