Cirrhilabrus johnsoni
Origin: Marshall Islands, Central Pacific
Johnson's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus johnsoni) is a rare and exquisite fairy wrasse from the Marshall Islands, with males displaying a vivid red body and distinctive blue-edged fins. It is a prized collector's fish due to its limited distribution in the central Pacific and its stunning terminal-phase colouration. Provide a tight-fitting lid as fairy wrasses are prone to jumping.
House in a reef aquarium of at least 200 L with a tight-fitting lid. Feed enriched frozen mysis, cyclops, and high-quality marine pellets two to three times daily. Peaceful with other species but may display aggression toward other fairy wrasses. Best kept individually or in a single-male harem group.
