Cirrhilabrus cf. jordani 'Keoki'
Origin: Remote Central Pacific atolls
Closely related to the Hawaiian Flame Wrasse, this undescribed form from remote Pacific atolls displays an even more intense and saturated red-orange coloration with subtle blue-purple highlighting on the caudal fin. Collected in tiny numbers from very restricted localities, it may represent a distinct species awaiting formal description. An extraordinary acquisition for the dedicated fairy wrasse collector.
House in a reef aquarium of at least 200 L with a tight-fitting lid. Feed enriched frozen mysis, copepods, and high-quality marine pellets two to three times daily. Peaceful with other reef fish. Best kept individually or in a single-male harem. Ensure stable, pristine water quality.
