Kohaku Koi Jumbo

A large, jumbo show-quality Kohaku koi with well-developed, bold hi markings over a crisp, unblemished white base. Kohaku is the most iconic koi variety and the cornerstone of the Gosanke trio (Kohaku, Sanke, Showa). Jumbo specimens at this size make an immediate and lasting visual impression in any garden pond and represent the accumulated quality of multiple seasons of growth and careful care. These fish are a centrepiece addition to any established koi pond.

House in a well-filtered pond of at least 5,000 L. Maintain pH 7.0–8.5, temperature 5–25°C; fully cold-hardy through Northern European winters. Feed quality koi pellets with colour-enhancing ingredients; the hi colouration develops more richly with quality carotenoid-rich diet. UV sterilization and regular water changes maintain the white base unblemished. Compatible with all other koi varieties.
