About
A medium-sized Kohaku koi showing the classic two-colour Gosanke pattern of pure white body and bold red (hi) patches that have become more defined with age. Kohaku is the most beloved and widely kept koi variety across Belgium and the Netherlands and the foundation of any serious koi pond collection. At medium size, hi patterns are well-established and the fish retains strong growth potential over many years ahead.
Care Guide
House in a well-filtered pond of at least 1,000 L. Maintain pH 7.0–8.5, temperature 5–25°C; cold-hardy through Belgian winters. Feed quality koi pellets with colour-enhancing pigments seasonally. UV sterilization and regular water changes maintain the pure white base colour. Compatible with all other koi varieties and large pond fish.
