About
The Koran Angelfish (Pomacanthus semicirculatus) undergoes one of the most dramatic juvenile-to-adult colour transformations in the marine hobby. Juveniles display dark blue-black colouring with bold white semicircular lines, while adults develop a stunning olive-green and blue body with intricate blue-edged scales. A robust and adaptable large angel suitable for experienced aquarists.
Care Guide
Requires a large aquarium of at least 450 L with abundant live rock. Feed a varied diet of frozen mysis, spirulina, nori, and angel-specific formula. Territorial toward other large angels. Not reef-safe; will nip at coral polyps and clam mantles. Best kept in a large FOWLR system.
