About

Microdevario kubotai — often traded as the Kubotai Rasbora or Neon Yellow Rasbora — is a lively and colourful species from clear hill streams in Myanmar and Thailand. Despite its petite size, it is robust and adaptable, making it one of the better entry points into nano fish keeping.

Care Guide

Water: 20–26 °C, pH 6.0–7.5, soft to moderately hard (GH 4–15). Tank: 30 L minimum; active swimmer needing open midwater space with planted edges. Feeding: Micro pellets, baby brine shrimp, Cyclops, crushed flake. Behaviour: Active schooler; keep 8+ for best display and group confidence. Compatibility: Excellent community nano fish with shrimp, corys, and other small species.
