Centropyge flavissimus
Origin: Indo-Pacific
Centropyge flavissimus — the lemon peel angelfish — has a vivid all-yellow body with a distinctive blue eye ring and blue-edged fins. It is one of the most visually striking dwarf angels. This species is moderately common in the hobby but is known to nip at zoanthids, LPS, and clam mantles — making it best suited for FOWLR or carefully monitored reef tanks. It adapts well to captive conditions when provided ample live rock and a varied diet.
Tank: 150+ L. Feed: marine angel food, spirulina, mysis. Reef-caution — nips zoanthids and LPS. Hardy once established.
