Centropyge flavissima
Origin: Central Pacific
The Lemonpeel Pygmy Angelfish (Centropyge flavissima) is a bright canary-yellow dwarf angelfish accented with electric blue outlines around the eyes and gill covers. It tends to be reef-unsafe due to its fondness for nipping at corals and clam mantles. Best kept in a fish-only or FOWLR aquarium with plenty of algae to graze.
Provide at least 150 L with abundant live rock for grazing. Feed spirulina, nori, mysis, and angel-specific preparations. Keep as the only dwarf angel. Suitable for FOWLR setups; monitor carefully in reef tanks as it frequently nips soft corals and clam mantles.
