Corydoras leopardus

Corydoras leopardus is a popular and readily available species from Brazil and Peru featuring large, irregular dark blotches and spots across its body. It is frequently confused with Corydoras trilineatus and C. julii but can be distinguished by spot shape and distribution. A hardy beginner's species that adapts well to community aquariums.
Water: 22–27°C, pH 6.0–7.5, soft to medium hardness; tolerant and adaptable. Tank: 60L+, fine sand substrate, moderate flow, mixed planted and open areas. Feeding: Sinking wafers, pellets, frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp, and algae tabs. Behaviour: Active, peaceful schooling bottom dweller; keep in groups of 6+. Compatibility: Excellent community fish with most peaceful tropical species.
