Amphiprion leucokranos
Origin: Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands
Amphiprion leucokranos is a natural hybrid between A. chrysopterus and A. sandaracinos found in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands. It displays a blended phenotype with an orange body, white head bar, and partial dorsal white stripe, making it a fascinating collector's species. Its intermediate colouring makes each individual subtly unique.
House in an aquarium of at least 100 L with a host anemone (Stichodactyla species preferred) or as a bonded pair in a reef. Feed a varied diet of frozen mysis, mince mussel, and marine pellets. Peaceful with most reef inhabitants but semi-aggressive toward other clownfish. A unique conversation piece for the reef aquarist.
