About

Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus lubbocki) is a vibrant species with males displaying a deep red to purple body with a bright yellow dorsal area and vivid blue highlights on the fins. Native to Philippine and Indonesian reefs, it is a popular choice for reef aquariums due to its brilliant colouration and peaceful nature. Thrives in groups and actively flashes colours during courtship.

Care Guide

House in a reef aquarium of at least 120 L with a tight-fitting lid. Feed enriched frozen mysis, cyclops, and quality marine pellets multiple times daily.
