Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus lubbocki) is a vibrant species with males displaying a deep red to purple body with a bright yellow dorsal area and vivid blue highlights on the fins. Native to Philippine and Indonesian reefs, it is a popular choice for reef aquariums due to its brilliant colouration and peaceful nature. Thrives in groups and actively flashes colours during courtship.
House in a reef aquarium of at least 120 L with a tight-fitting lid. Feed enriched frozen mysis, cyclops, and quality marine pellets multiple times daily. Keep as one male with 2–4 females for best social dynamics and colour display. Peaceful with other reef inhabitants. Provide open swimming space.
