The Silver Lyretail Molly combines bright silver colouration with an elegant lyre-shaped tail fin, making it one of the most ornamental molly varieties. Best kept in groups with both sexes represented to ensure natural behaviour and reduce male harassment of individual females.
Care Guide
Keep in a mixed-sex group (ratio of 2–3 females per male) in an aquarium of at least 80 L. Provide hard, alkaline water with good circulation. Feed quality flake, spirulina, and occasional frozen foods. Hardy and easy to breed. Remove fry to a separate tank if raising.
