About
Macropharyngodon meleagris, the Leopard Wrasse, is an exquisitely patterned wrasse with white spots on a dark background mimicking a leopard. Beautiful but challenging to keep — requires live sand and live foods initially. Not for beginners.
Care Guide
Sand substrate 8+ cm. Start with live Artemia nauplii and live copepods; transition to frozen foods. Temperature 24–27°C. Keep one male + multiple females. Cannot be kept with aggressive fish.
