About
An assorted mix of Aulonocara species from Lake Malawi, offering a range of brilliant blues, reds, and yellows in a single purchase. Peacock cichlids are among the most colourful and tractable Malawi species, well-suited to hard alkaline aquaria. Males are most intensely coloured, especially during breeding competition.
Care Guide
Keep in a spacious aquarium of at least 250 L with hard alkaline water (pH 7.5–8.5). Provide rocky substrate and caves for territory delineation. Feed quality cichlid pellets, spirulina, and frozen mysis. Keep one male per species with multiple females to reduce aggression. Compatible with other peacock and hap cichlids of similar size.
