About

Corydoras polystictus is a small, neatly spotted cory from the Mato Grosso region of Brazil, densely covered in tiny dark spots giving it a peppered appearance. Its compact size makes it suitable for smaller aquariums. It is a lively, active bottom-forager and an excellent choice alongside other nano species.

Care Guide

Water: 20–26°C, pH 6.5–7.5, soft to medium hardness; adaptable. Tank: 40L+, fine sand substrate, plants for cover, gentle to moderate flow. Feeding: Small sinking wafers, micro pellets, frozen daphnia, cyclops, and bloodworm. Behaviour: Active, peaceful schooling bottom dweller; keep in groups of 6+. Compatibility: Ideal with small peaceful fish; nano tetras, rasboras, and other small cories.
