Amphiprion mccullochi
Origin: Lord Howe Island, Elizabeth Reef, Australia
Amphiprion mccullochi is one of the rarest clownfish in the aquarium trade, endemic only to Lord Howe Island and Elizabeth Reef off Australia. It displays a dark brownish-black body with a single white head bar and vivid white tail, exuding a sleek and sophisticated appearance. Its restricted range and limited availability make it a highly prized collector's specimen.
House in an aquarium of at least 100 L with a suitable host anemone or as a bonded pair in a reef. Feed a varied diet of frozen mysis, chopped mussel, and quality marine pellets. Semi-aggressive toward other clownfish; keep as a pair only. Requires slightly cooler temperatures (22–26°C) than most clownfish. For experienced collectors.
