About
The Meteor Goldfish is an extraordinarily rare variety with no tail fin, resulting in a blunt rounded posterior and a unique swimming motion driven entirely by the body and pectoral fins. Originally developed in China, it is rarely seen in European shops. This orange example has a clean, solid colouration.
Care Guide
House in a well-filtered aquarium of at least 100 L with cool, oxygenated water (10–22°C) and gentle flow. Feed sinking goldfish pellets to minimize air ingestion. Keep with other fancy or tailless goldfish; avoid fast-swimming varieties. Regular water changes are essential.
