Mikrogeophagus altispinosus (Bolivian Ram) is the more robust and cooler-tolerant cousin of the German Blue Ram. It displays spectacular yellow-orange colouration with red dorsal tips. Ideal for planted community tanks.

Care Guide

pH 6.5–7.5, temp 22–26°C. More tolerant than German Ram. Provide flat stones for egg-laying. Feed varied diet: pellets, Cyclops, frozen Daphnia.
